Moms and Babies In Need Outreach Project
According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, in 2011, Pennsylvania had 912,000 single parents.  This represents 34 percent of our state’s population.  Among this number are poverty-stricken single homes and single parents under the age of 18.   Growing In God Ministry, Inc sponsors several  “Moms and Babies in Need” Outreach Projects yearly.  This project’s aim is to help those single parents who are struggling with taking care of their children.  This project will provide disposable diapers and baby wipes to single parents who are in need along with toys during our Christmas Giveaway and clothes for the parents with our AGL (Authenticating God's Love) store.        
We distributed over 2000 disposable diapers and over 1300 baby wipes to single parents in the Tri-State Area.  GIG is excited to help our community and strengthen the families.  We plan to continue to help these parents who are trying to raise their children in these very challenging times.

Christmas Giveaway
Each year Growing in God Ministry provide brand new toys to children who are a part of our Moms and Babies In Need Outreach project.  We provide several toys to children from birth to five years old.  The children and parents are very grateful to receive the gifts.  Not only do the children receive toys, but also gloves and hats.  We provide a meal for the parents and children and we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them so that they are able to continue to live a powerful life in spite of their financial challenges.  We are proud and pleased to help these parents and children.  Our goal is to reach thousands of single parents throughout the city of Pittsburgh and even the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland.
 
Homeless Project
Growing in God Ministry also partners with Light of Life, Northside, PA. Last year we gave a financial donation which helped 35 families.  We were pleased to contribute a donation that would help almost 50 homeless families.  We hope to continue to grow our contribution each year as we share the love of Christ to those who have lost their way temporarily.  We have hope that they will once again regain their lives through Jesus Christ.

Joyce Meyer Hand of Hope Ministry and Joyce Meyer Conference
GIG is reaching the communities of our nation by reaching out through various outreach projects to help those in need. GlG has partnered with Joyce Meyer Ministry, Hand of Hope Missions to broaden our reach of sharing the love of Christ.  Through Joyce Meyer Ministries, Hand of Hope Mission, we are able to reach people all around the globe.  Each year we travel to Hershey, PA and take as many as are willing to go to the Joyce Meyer Conference.  Here, we are blessed and rejuvenated so that we can continue to do the work of the Lord.  Look for flyers or contact Rev.
